West Indies fast bowler Shamar Joseph has been signed by Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for IPL 2024. LSG has included Shamar Joseph in its team as a replacement for Mark Wood. LSG will pay an amount of Rs 3 crore to Joseph.
Schedulefixtures.com has learned that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has decided to manage Wood's workload keeping in mind the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 and home Test series against West Indies and Sri Lanka. Earlier, in view of the upcoming T20 World Cup, the ECB had also stopped Joffra Archer from being a part of the IPL 2024 auction.
