The England cricket team has announced the ODI and T20 squads for the West Indies tour of England 2023 to be held in December 2023. Only six players from the World Cup playing team have been included in the ODI team selected by ECB to play the 3-match ODI series. Jos Buttler has been given captaincy in both formats. ODI matches will be played from 3-9 December.
New faces like Ollie Pope, John Turner and Josh Tongue have got a chance in the team, who will make their ODI debut in this series.
The England team will also play a series of five T20i matches from 12-21 December on this tour. Moeen Ali, the most experienced player of the ODI World Cup team, has saved his place in the T20I team.
